Our WOW 2023 festival included five screenings across Wales of 'The Bronze Men Of Cameroon,' and we were pleased to have the film's director Florence Ayisi join us for a Q&A at Taliesin Arts Centre (Swansea).
Florence engaged with our audience in a very interesting discussion around her film and her experience living with the Bamum people in Cameroon.
She also talked about the process of filming this documentary, shared some anecdotal stories, and let us in some future films she is in the process of making and editing.
WOW has screened previous works of Florence like her film 'Sisters in Law' - which was one of 15 documentaries selected for Oscar Short List in 2006 - and 'The Bronze Men Of Cameroon' is certainly not going to be the last one!
