Join this free event where musicians, singers, Welsh players and locals will bring Cornelius Cardew’s “The Great Learning: Paragraph 3” to life - there is no rehearsal and you don't need to read music!
The evening will also include a solo performance by renowned Welsh double bass player, Ashley John Long, playing one of his own compositions, “Fflam”
There will also be a “world premiere” showing of a short structuralist film, OPUS 133, by Clive Myer. Inspired by the graphical scores of Cornelius Cardew and Myer’s sketches, it is an improvised dance by Lynn Seymour, Principle Ballerina at the Royal Ballet, shot at 2 frames a second.
