In the Occupied West Bank of the 1980s, a Palestinian teenager is pulled into a protest that changes the course of his family’s life. In the aftermath, his mother Hanan recounts the chain of events that brought them to this moment - unspooling a sweeping, intimate family history shaped by displacement, endurance, and the ways memory is carried from one generation to the next.
