WOW 2010 was a packed festival. Not only did we have the strongest film programme yet with more people attending screenings than any other previous year, WOW also squeezed in loads of events too.
WOW worked with BAFTA Cymru and Chapter to successfully raise money for the Haiti Earthquake fund with a free screening of ‘Crazy Heart.’ WOW also collaborated with charity Practical Action and the Digital Hero Award winner Undercurrents. Below are some of the other things WOW got up to in the lead up to the 2010 festival….
Watch an Undercurrents Solar Cinema film with young people from
John Beddoes High School in Presteigne. A WOW/Undercurrents cooperation!
Gwen goes to WOW’s opening night at Chapter!
Here is Rhowan of Theatr Mwldan reviewing a film she loved in WOW…Departures.
Gwen tells us a thing or two about Made In Jamaica (15)!

Gwen reviews Tulpan
I still can’t stop thinking about Tulpan: you don’t need massive budgets to produce dramatic, dynamic films. You just need to have a bit of time to wait around untill something truely awesome happens like big weather or giving birth and then you just film it. Easy! Hope you like my review. See ya, Gwen
