A wild black comedy about a group of women who, after the factory they work in is closed down pool their redundancy money to hire a hit man to bump off the boss. Hulking, antisocial ex-con, Louise takes the lead but the guy they hire turns out to be a bumbling idiot. Things spiral out of control and they leave a trail of mayhem in their wake as they seek revenge. Very, very funny with a very black sense of humour that seems singularly appropriate at a time when bankers and bosses can walk away with billions while the rest of us pick up the tab. The overall tone of anarchic craziness makes the revolutionary message go down smoothly.
