WOW Wales One World Film Festival 2011 takes place in March at Aberystwyth Arts Centre, Chapter in Cardiff and Taliesin Arts Centre in Swansea and will then tour through out Wales and the borders.

The only film festival in the UK to specialize in world cinema, WOW exists to show films that celebrate the diversity of different stories that people tell about their world and how they live.

WOW hopes to surprise, astonish and give you time to reflect, to refresh your senses of what cinema can do, to transport you across our beautiful world and celebrate our common humanity.

WOW worked with BAFTA Cymru and Chapter to successfully raise money for the Haiti Earthquake fund with a free screening of ‘Crazy Heart.’ WOW also collaborated with charity Practical Action and the Digital Hero Award winner Undercurrents. I still can’t stop thinking about Tulpan: you don’t need massive budgets to produce dramatic, dynamic films. You just need to have a bit of time to wait around untill something truely awesome happens like big weather or giving birth and then you just film it. Easy! Hope you like my review. See ya, Gwen
